How to start/stop Window services such as print spooler on a remote computer.

The following command shows you how you can start and stop a print spooler on another computer remotely on the same network. Start by running CMD or command.com in Windows.

First you will need to know the name of the remote computer. Example, if the computer name is RemoteComputer.

To stop the print spooler on RemoteComputer, at the command prompt type :

sc.exe \\RemoteComputer stop spooler

 

To start the print spooler on RemoteComputer, at the command prompt type:

sc.exe \\RemoteComputer start spooler
